dlc select Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance as charity for 2015
Leading credit management outsourcing agency, dlc has selected Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) as their chosen charity for 2015.
WNAA attend an average of three rescue missions a day, with each rescue mission costing an average of £1,700. dlc want to raise awareness of the truly amazing service WNAA provide and help them in doing so by increasing donations.
Over the coming twelve months we will be holding multiple events to raise funds and bring a greater awareness of the Amazing service that the paramedics, doctors and pilots at WPAA provide. They work together to provide clinical care to patients at the scene of the accident, before flying them to the hospital most suited to their injury. Their incredible effort gives patients the best chance for survival and full recovery.
Tracy Grunwell Fundraising Manager for The Air Ambulance Services said:
“We’re really grateful to dlc for their support and look forward to working alongside them in the future. As we receive no Government or National Lottery funding, support like this is absolutely invaluable in helping to keep our lifesaving service in the sky.”
Mark Whale, Senior Business Development Manager commented:
“We are looking forward to supporting The Air Ambulance Service in 2015.Speed is often of the essence in life saving situations. With flight times commonly being four times quicker than road travel times, this service is often a critical factor to saving lives in emergency situations.
In 2014 our staff raised in excess of £7,000 for our chosen charities, with all donations being matched by dlc. I know that our team will continue their good work and raise as much as possible for this worthy cause.”
WPAA has a passion for saving lives and a dedication to keeping families together making sure that where possible, they can help your friends, relatives and loved ones when they most need them.
All funds raised by dlc staff for WNAA over 2015 will be matched by dlc. For more information please visit WNAA’s website here.
